2016 - 2017 Mentoring (Machining & Lab Supplies) / Pilot Project
I was in charge of training and mentoring for new hires for key segments since I was the point of contact/Go-To-Person. this phase helped me to develop and learn how to provide and received positive/constructive feedback, also my listening skills and critical thinking. I implemented a project for this segment since we need to improve the interactions and delays that were happening in order to complete the batches timely. This segment was very difficult and suppliers were not very supportive, but at the same time allow me to gain knowledge and experience about products that were unknown for me.
2018 - Enhanced Content Project (Images)
This project is related to processing of supporting images, documents and videos for items that were already live on Grainger's website. This was an essential project for Grainger customers since most of the time the purchase decision it is influenced by images/supporting documents. I was the POC for this project in Panama, working along with business partners in US. Within this timeframe, I was able to process more than 12k images and 2k technical documents.
2019 - Work Instructions Creation/Support
As a Content Process Specialist we have backup documentation to use on a daily basis, most common was the Data Standards which helps to normalize data based on the way Grainger would like to show it on the website for the customers. I participated on the creation and ongoing update of this document since 2018 to 2019. Also, along the way, I created two documents (Best Demonstrated Practices, Machining Guideline-Drill bits & Grinding Machines) that were implemented as primary use for all team members in order to do the work on time and effectively as requested.
2022 - 2025 Reduce Past due Balances
I successfully reduced the company’s past due balance by 15% by leveraging my organization and follow-up skills. I developed a structured process for tracking outstanding accounts and initiated timely communications with clients, leading to faster collections and improved aging reports.
Overall, I have been able to participate and provide my input/knowledge in all the projects that I've been involved for the past years. I'm extremely grateful with these experiences that has helped me grow as a professional and as a person.
